Sashimi Rice & Sake Spread

A Montreal condo sushi-night spread with salmon, tuna, scallops, shrimp, cucumber, rice, nori, sake, soy and spicy mayo.

Method

  1. Rinse sushi rice and cook until tender; season while warm and let it cool slightly.
  2. Slice the fish and seafood cleanly with a sharp knife and keep chilled until plating.
  3. Arrange rice, nori, cucumber, sauces and seafood across the table.
  4. Serve immediately with soy sauce, spicy mayo and sake or a very cold white.
